Personal Settings & Notifications

Your Account Settings page is where you manage everything personal to your Troposphere account – profile, email, password, theme, and notifications. Settings here are per-user, not per-organisation.

Finding the page#

Open the user menu in the top-right of the console (your avatar and name) and click Settings. The page heading is Account Settings.

Profile#

The Profile card shows your First Name and Last Name, plus two status indicators:

• MFA Enabled / MFA Disabled – whether multi-factor authentication is set up on your account.
• Email Confirmed – whether you have verified the email address on file.

Edit the name fields and click Save Profile to update.

Email address#

Use the Email Address card to change the address on your account. A confirmation email will be sent to the new address before the change takes effect. Click Update Email to submit the change.

Change password#

Use the Change Password card to set a new password. Enter the new password, confirm it, and click Change Password.

Application settings#

The Application Settings card currently contains a single toggle:

• Dark Mode – switches the console between light and dark themes. The setting persists across sessions.

Notification Preferences#

The Notification Preferences card controls which events trigger email notifications to your inbox. Every toggle is independent:

• Alerts – a general switch for email notifications on any new alert.
• Budget Alerts – email when a cost bucket crosses one of its budget thresholds.
• Policy Violations – email when a resource violates a policy.
• Import Completed – email when a connection’s sync finishes.
• Weekly Digest – a weekly summary email of organisation activity.

Toggle the events you care about and click Save Preferences. Notifications are email-only; nothing is sent to any other channel.

Danger Zone#

The Danger Zone card at the bottom of the page contains higher-impact actions:

• Logout All Sessions – sign your account out of every device it is currently signed in on. Useful if you suspect a session has been compromised or you simply want to force a fresh login everywhere.
