Alerts are notifications generated by the platform when something requires your attention. They provide a unified feed of issues across cost, compliance, and operational health.

Alert Types

  • System – generated by connection failures, import errors, or other platform-level events.
  • Budget – triggered when a cost bucket crosses a configured budget threshold.
  • Policy – raised when a resource violates a compliance policy.
  • Insight – created when a resource fails an automated insight check.

Severity Levels

Every alert carries a severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low, or Info) inherited from the source that produced it – the budget threshold level, the policy severity, or the insight severity.

Alert Statuses

  • Open – the alert is active and requires attention.
  • Fixed – the underlying issue has been resolved and the alert was closed automatically.
  • Ignored – a user has acknowledged the alert and chosen to suppress it.

Alerts can be filtered by type, severity, and status, making it straightforward to triage the most important issues first.
